Finances & Requirements
Each potential new member should be aware of the financial responsibilities of sorority life before pledging. Each sorority can have different costs and it is important to ask each sorority about the financial responsibilities of being a member of that sorority.
On average, the first semester of pledging is twice as expensive as following semesters, due to many one-time fees. All costs associated with the sorority do not include extra items such as sorority paraphernalia, shirts, jewelry, hats, and other such items.
Most sororities ask for dues at the beginning of each semester, but payment plans are also an option.
