PHEAA Academic Progress Policy
The Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency (PHEAA) requires that students make satisfactory academic progress for each academic year (Summer, Fall, Winter, Spring) during which the State Grant was received.
Examples of how PHEAA's academic progress policy is implemented at Millersville University.

Repeated Courses
Repeated courses where credits were previously earned CANNOT be counted.
Previously earned letter grades = A, B, C, D
Previously failed credits CAN be counted.
Previously failed letter grades = F, W, Z
Transfer Students
Please make sure that our Registrar's Office has your latest transcript from your previous institution.

Did not make satisfactory academic progress?
Students may request an exception when they fail to meet the required number of credits to satisfy PHEAA's academic progress policy.
The student must report the medical condition, family illness, or other extenuating circumstance that contributed to the failure of credits.
