The Office of Experiential Learning and Career Management invites all students to Career Week! There are five days of activities and workshops to help you focus on your future, explore career options, and discover job opportunities in your field and succeed. Attend and you could win a Kindle, iPod, gift cards and more! A $100 Gift Card will be drawn at each event!

The 8 topic sessions will be repeated every 30 minutes, with the first session starting at 10:00am. You will have the opportunity to participate in one or all eight sessions depending on your area of interest and your schedule.
The following sessions will be held at 10:00 am, 11:00 am, 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm:
- Financial IQ; Dwight Horsey (Director of Financial Aid)
- Your Financial IQ - what you need to know to stay fiscally healthy
- Get Involved; Javita Thompson (Graduate Assistant, Volunteer Central, ELCM) and Center for Student Involvement & Leadership staff
- How you can get involved on-campus and in the community
- Social Media; Erin Dorney (Library Department)
- How Social Media can help or possibly hurt your professional image
- Grad School; Melissa Wardwell (College of Graduate and Professional Studies)
- What you need to know about applying to Graduate School

- How a Study Abroad experience can benefit you
- Four-Year Career Plan; Diane Fleishman (Director, ELCM) and Margo Sassaman (Director of Career Services, ELCM)
- What is it and when is the ideal time for me to connect with ELCM
- Interview/Dress; Annie Cappelli and Debi Schmidt (Graduate Assistants, ELCM)
- How to enhance your professional image through dress and effective communication in an interview
- Intern: Why, When? How?; Holly Ott (Assistant Director, ELCM) and Hope Bender (Graduate Assistant, ELCM)
- What is the advantage of participating in an Internship experience

Central PA Employer Consortium Job and Internship Fair

Meet with over 100 employers who are looking to hire graduating seniors and students who are interested in participating in internships. Visit www.cpec.info to identify and research what companies will be attending the fair.
MU will be providing FREE transportation and lunches for students who are interested in attending this fair. Buses will leave MU campus at 9:00 am and 11:00 am. CLICK HERE TO CONFIRM A SPOT AND A FREE LUNCH TO CPEC. You MUST preregister to take advantage of this service. Please note that a lunch cannot be guaranteed for registrations that are submitted after 2/13/12.
