Millersville University's videoconferencing facilities are centrally located on campus in Bassler Hall room 121 and Boyer room 244. To reserve either room please fill out the Videoconferencing Room Request Form.

  • Two remote controlled cameras:
    • Camera 1: Pointed at the front of the classroom and instructor
    • Camera 2: This camera is located in the front of the room and is pointed toward the class for remote viewing of the class participants
  • Two 50" monitors in the front of the room that show local and remote video to the local site
  • Two 35" monitors suspended from the ceiling to allow the participants seated in the rear of the classroom to have a better view of the local and remote video
  • One 38" monitor in the back of the classroom that allows the instructor to see the remote site
  • An instructor's podium is located in the front of the room for lecture scenarios. This podium includes the following equipment:
    • Two 5" LCD monitors showing local and remote video
    • One Elmo document camera allows the display of solid objects, opaque paper and transparencies
  • A Windows PC with a wireless keyboard and mouse for PowerPoint presentations and web access
  • "Push-to-talk" microphones: located at every desk
