Blackboard: Wikis and Blogs (Limited to Faculty)

Description:

Introduced this semester, Wikis and Blogs inside of Blackboard(Bb). This tool allows faculty to quickly and easily setup a Wiki or Blog for increased student engagement.

Wiki: Many authors, various personalities & experiences, opinions face scrutiny of community or are listed as such (Extended Discussions, Peer Review).

Blog: Typically one author, one personality, one opinion (Journaling, Build a Simple ePortfolio, Simple Website).

Teaching with Screen Capture software (Jing, Captivate, Articulate)

Software enabling you to capture and share computer screen activity... Create a Powerpoint with supporting audio, walk your students through the use of a specific piece of software, provide quick instructions with audio and motion via an online flash movie... all without programming knowledge or multimedia skills.
