  • Jan L. Graybill '80Jan L. Graybill '80

    Jan joined our Board in 2009 and is currently serving as President. He earned his B.S. in Business Administration from Millersville in 1980. He currently manages Legacy Planning Partner’s Allentown, PA offices while serving as the firm’s Managing Partner. Legacy Planning Partners is a comprehensive Financial Services Company with offices located in Allentown, Plymouth Meeting, West Chester, PA and Stuart, FL. His hobbies include travel, golf and American History. Jan’s spouse, Alisa McCambridge Graybill is also a 1980 Millersville Graduate. They have two daughters, Jenna and Angela who are key staff members at Legacy Planning’s Allentown office.

  • Anne Jackson '78Anne Jackson '78

    Anne joined our Board in 2012 and is currently serving as Vice President. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Spanish from Millersville in 1978 and went on to earn her Master's in Education from Penn State. She is currently employed as a Risk Control Consultant for RCM&D, Mechanicsburg, PA, and is a member of the America Society of Safety Engineers. In her spare time, she enjoys wine tasting, working out, and cheering on her favorite teams. Anne is a proud mother to Liz and Amy, Millersville Class of 2008, step-mother to Jonathan, and grandmother to three.

  • Barry E. Miller '77Barry E. Miller '77

    Barry joined our Board in 2009 and is currently serving as Treasurer. He graduated from J.P. McCaskey High School in 1972, earned his B.A. in Economics from Millersville University in 1977, and attended the BAI Graduate School of Bank Management in 1987. He is the Chief Operating Officer at Ephrata National Bank in Ephrata, PA and has been in banking since 1974. His hobbies include travel, volunteering, cooking, reading, and fitness. He and his wife Debra are parents to Lauren Bergman and Jason Leed.

  • Saul FinkSaul W. Fink ‘85

    Saul joined our Board in 2015 and is currently serving as Secretary. He graduated from Millersville with his B.S. in Chemistry and earned a Ph.D. in Analytical/Physical Chemistry from the University of Houston.  Saul is currently the Executive Director of Global Manufacturing and Supply at Bristol-Myers Squibb (BMS).  His responsibilities include leading the successful transition for all manufacturing and supply chain aspects of the diabetes portfolio to AstraZeneca.  He has held several roles at BMS, including analytical chemist and manager, pharmaceutical development and developed business operations within protein therapeutics.  Saul and his wife Trace have two sons, Brandon and Adam.


  • Dan BiemesderferDaniel Biemesderfer' 71, Ph.D.

    Dan joined our Board in 2013. He earned his B.A. in Biology from Millersville University in 1971 and his PhD in Cell Biology from Yale University in 1991.  He retired in June 2012 as Associate Professor of Internal Medicine from Yale University School of Medicine, where he led a biomedical research laboratory doing work on ion and protein handling in the kidney.  Since retiring, he is a Visiting Scientist at the University of Connecticut's Marine Science Laboratory in Groton, Connecticut.  An active community volunteer, he is currently President of the Board of Trustees of Cold Spring School in New Haven.  His hobbies include sailing (long-distance ocean racing), music (especially opera), fly fishing, photography, and education.  He is married to Gretchen with a daughter, two sons, and three granddaughters.  

  • Beverly Hacker Breniser '69Beverly Hacker Breniser '69 '73

    Bev joined our Board in 2011. She graduated from Millersville with her BSE in Elementary Education in 1969 and her M.Ed in 1973, also earning her Principal’s Certification from Temple University. She retired from serving as a teacher, gifted program supervisor, and elementary principal and now serves as Executive Director of the Conestoga Valley Education Foundation and as an Adjunct Professor for the Millersville University School of Education. She is an avid baker, known for her original cheesecakes, and enjoys spending time with her husband Darryl at their vacation home in Avalon, New Jersey.

  • Neysa CallahanNeysa Callahan '81

    Neysa joined our Board in 2016. She graduated from Millersville with a B.S. in Business Administration. Currently, she is employed with Hempfield School District doing Accounting for the Food Service Department. Her hobbies include biking, aerobics, reading and spending time at the beach in Ocean City, NJ. Her spouse, Mike, is also a graduate of Millersville and President of Benchmark Construction Company. They have two children, Michael and Briana.

  • Ximena Catepillan, Ph.D.Ximena Catepillan, Ph.D.

    Ximena joined our Board in 2011. Dr. Catepillan received her Ph.D. in Mathematics from The University of Iowa in 1991. She is currently a Mathematics Professor at Millersville University. In her spare time, she enjoys dancing and studying the mathematics and science of the Pre-Columbian Americas. She is the proud parent of Paulina Melin, Millersville Class of 2000 and Sebastian Melin, who is currently studying at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia.

  • Ben Del TitoBenjamin J. Del Tito, Jr., PhD '77

    Ben joined our Board in 2013. He graduated from Millersville with his BA in Biology, his M.S. in Biochemistry from Western Kentucky University, and his Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from Lehigh University. He has over 25 years in drug development, quality, and regulatory experience in biopharmaceutical companies. He is currently Executive Vice President for Regulatory Affairs and Project Management at Auxilium Pharmaceuticals, Inc. in Chesterbrook, PA. Ben enjoys music (both playing and listening), cycling, and spending time at his home at the beach in North Carolina with his wife Anna. Ben is the proud father of three daughters, Ashley, Gina, and Lauren.

  • Steven FellinSteven J. Fellin, CFA '87

    Steve joined our Board in 2014. He earned a B.S. in Finance from Millersville University in 1987. He has over 15 years of experience serving as the Chief Financial, Operating and Compliance Officer to investment advisor firms that manage assets of pension plans, charitable organizations, mutual funds and private investment funds. He is holder of the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Institute, the Financial Analysts of Philadelphia Society, and the National Society of Compliance Professionals. His professional experience includes management positions at SEI Investments and The Vanguard Group. Steve and his wife Dana have two children Lucas (10) and Marlo (2). He resides in Kimberton, PA.

  • Joe GarnerJoseph Garner '90

    Joe joined our Board in 2016, after having served on the Board previously from 2004-2011. Joe is the Director of Research and a member of the Small Cap and Mid Cap Portfolio Management teams at Emerald Asset Management. He is also a Manager of the Emerald Growth Fund. Mr. Garner’s research efforts are focused on small and mid-sized firms in the Business Services, Capital Goods, Consumer, Financial Services, and Technology sectors. Mr. Garner served as President of the Millersville University Foundation and previously served as Chair of the Board’s Investment Committee. Prior to joining Emerald in 1994, Mr. Garner was the Program Manager of the PA Economic Development Financing Authority (PEDFA) and an Economic Development Analyst with the PA Department of Commerce’s Office of Technology Development. Mr. Garner received an MBA from the Katz Graduate School of Business, University of Pittsburgh, and graduated magna cum laude with a BA in Economics from Millersville University.

  • Nicole GuyNicole Guy (Expected Class of 2016)

    Nicole joined our Board as a Student Director in 2014. She is a senior pursuing her Bachelor degree in Applied Engineering Technology Management with a concentration in Graphic Communications. She currently works at the information desk, as a Student Ambassador on the SHARP team, and at the Duncan Alumni house as a student assistant. In her spare time she enjoys working with the student organizatation she is involved with including, Delta Zeta, All Greek Council, and Student Sentae. She also enjoys music, photography, designing, hanging out with friends, and spoiling her nieces in her spare time.  

  • Darryl LandisDarryl L. Landis, MD '85

    Darryl joined our Board in 2014. He earned his B.S. in Biochemistry from Millersville in 1985 and went on to attain a medical degree from Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, as well as an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. He is Vice President and Chief Medical Officer of Genova Diagnostics, Inc. where he leads the Medical Affairs department responsible for clinical research, medical education, and product development. He also serves as an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Public Health Science at the Wake Forest University School of Medicine. His hobbies include real estate development and Middle Eastern culture. He and his wife Suhaila are the proud parents of three sons, Abdulla, Michael, and Justin.

  • LombardiJulie A. Lombardi, P.E.D.

    Professor Lombardi joined our Board in 2015.  She is currently an Associate Professor in the University’s Wellness & Sport Sciences Department.  Julie earned her P.E.D. from Indiana University, her M.S. from the University of New Mexico and her B.S. from Trinity University (San Antonio, TX).  Her hobbies include running and other outdoor exercise activities.  Julie and her husband Bob have two daughters, Mackenzie and Keely.

  • Liz Martin Liz Martin

    Liz joined our Board in 2012. She received her Bachelor of Science in Business with an English minor from Elizabethtown College. She is currently the President and Owner of Martin Insurance Agency in Millersville. In addition, Liz started a grass-fed blank angus beef operation on Ironstone Spring Farm, her fifth-generation family farm in Manor Township. Liz is a recipient of the 2006 Athena Award, a 2009 Pennsylvania's Best 50 Women in Business and the 2011 Lancaster Chamber of Commerce Small Business Person of the Year. Liz is very active in her community and is a member of the Insurance Agents and Brokers Association, Pennsylvania Sustained Agriculture (PASA) and a board member of the Lancaster Rotary Club, YWCA Lancaster, and the Farm & Home Center Foundation. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, golf, hiking, and yoga.

  • William B. McIlwaine, PhDWilliam B. McIlwaine, PhD

    Bill rejoined our Board in 2012. He received his Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctorate from Boston University, and pursued additional studies at Penn State in Earth Sciences and Harvard University in Nuclear Science. He taught biology, chemistry, and general sciences at the high school level before joining the faculty of Millersville University. At Millersville, Dr. McIlwaine became the first department chair for the Department of Earth and Space Science, Chairman of the Department of Elementary and Early Childhood Education, and Professor Emeritus of Science. His work has been featured in numerous publications, and he developed a program in student teaching for the Navajo Indian reservation. Bill is active in the community, serving on the Pennsylvania Board of Nursing Home Administrators and is a member of the Millersville University Council of Trustees. Bill and his late wife, Melva, are the parents of David, Douglas '85, Deborah (Shenk), and Meredyth (Taylor).

  • Bob PattersonRobert Patterson

    Bob is a Life Director on the Millersville University Foundation Board.  He earned her B.S. (magna cum laude) in Economics from Franklin & Marshall College and did additional graduate coursework at both Temple University and Harvard University School of Public Health.  Both a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Global Management Accountant, Bob served as CIO for the Pennsylvania Treasury Department and Senior Vice President and CFO of Pennsylvania Blue Shield prior to his retirement.  A longtime Lancaster county resident, he is an active community volunteer with, Lancaster General Health, and with Millersville University as a Millersville University Foundation Board member from 2000-2010 and Foundation Board President from 2006-2010 as well as a member of the Soar to Greatness Campaign Cabinet which raised $85 million for Millersville University.  He also serves as a supervisor for West Lampeter Township.  In his spare time, he enjoys playing bridge, building radio-controlled model planes, and gardening.  Bob and his late wife, Dorothy, have a son, Craig, daughter, Tracy, and a grandson, Brian.

  • Gerry RobinsonGerald S. Robinson

    Gerry joined our Board in 2013. He earned his B.A. in Economics and his Juris Doctorate from Howard University in Washington, DC.  He is a founding partner of Robinson & Geraldo P.C. and serves on the Board of Arbitrators and as Custody Conciliator in the Dauphin County Court of Common Pleas.  In addition, he is a current member of the Millersville University Council of Trustees.  He is actively involved with a number of community and civic organizations, including Gretna Theater, the Urban League of Lancaster County, the March of Dimes, and the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission.  Longtime residents of Lancaster County, Gerry and his wife Yvette are the proud parents of daughter Tiffany and son Robbie.

  • RossKathryn Ross

    Kathryn joined our Board in 2015.  She is the Founder and CEO of Kross Strategies, LLC, a sales and marketing advisory firm.  Kathryn earned her B.S. in Health & Sports Science from Wake Forest University and has over 25 years’ experience working with and for Fortune 100 companies, advertising agencies and media.  Her hobbies include traveling, reading, hiking and golf.  Kathryn has strong ties to the University as her parents (Karl ’59 and Linda ’62 Gettle) and sister (Elizabeth Lindsay ’95) are Millersville University alumni.

  • Robin RussoRobin Russo

    Robin joined our Board in 2016. Robin has been a part of the Rodgers & Associates advisory team since January 2013 with nine years of experience in the investment advisory industry. She began her career with Fisher Advisers and most recently worked with Kuntz Lesher Capital, where she managed client mutual fund portfolios, advised employers on their company-sponsored retirement plans and headed the firm’s compliance department. An industrial engineer by trade, Robin focused on improving the manufacturing process at Lancaster, PA-based R.R. Donnelly and Sons, and, later, at McCormick & Company in Baltimore. She achieved the prestigious CFP® marks in 2011. She and her husband Mike reside in Lancaster and have two grown sons — both former Division I athletes.

  • WarnerJames D. Warner ‘80

    Jim joined our Board in 2015.  He graduated from Millersville with his B.S. in Secondary Education and earned his M.S. in Geo-Environmental Science from Shippensburg University. Since 1996, Jim has served as CEO of the Lancaster County Solid Waste Management Authority.  During his tenure, he has led the organization through many strategic moves which continue to position the Authority as an industry leader.  While maintaining a standard of excellence with managing the municipal solid waste and recyclables for Lancaster County, the LCSWMA has also sustained its financial strength despite an uncertain economy and expanded its mission to invest in resources and projects that enhance the livability of the local area.  Jim and his wife Kathleen Sacco have two Australian Shepherds, Adam and Boone.

  • John WilliamsJohn G. Williams '64

    John joined our Board in 2016. John graduated from Millersville University in 1964 with a BSE in Industrial Technology and went on to earn his MEd from Trenton State College. Mr. Williams began his career teaching industrial arts in Bucks County for ten years. Continuing his ties to industrial arts, Mr. Williams then moved on to the New Jersey Department of Education where he served as Director of Facility Planning for the Bureau of Vocational Education, and then became Director for the Central Montgomery County Area Vo-tech School in Norristown, PA. While at Central Montgomery, Mr. Williams was approached by an Italian American organization with ties to Montella, Italy. Through this relationship Mr. Williams established an exchange program that has been running for 16 years between vocational students at Central Montgomery and a high school with a vocational program in Italy. He is married to his wife Rose, and the couple currently reside in Willow Street, PA.

    Ann joined our Board in 2016. Ann currently serves as the Executive Director of Lancaster Dollars for Higher Learning - a non-profit organization founded in 1961 to provide financial assistance to deserving Lancaster County, PA residents. Previously, Ann served as Chair of the Republican Committee of Lancaster County. A Millersville University Trustee since November 2013, she has served on numerous Lancaster-based public service boards. Ann has a BA in History and Political Science from Furman University (Greenville, SC) and earned her MBA (with a concentration in Finance) from the University of Florida. She and her husband have five children.

  • Ben YoderBenjamin Daniel Yoder '15

    Ben joined our Board as a Student Director in 2014. He is a junior pursuing his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting & Finance. He currently works doing administration, accounting, and marketing research at Cornerstone Design - Architects in Lancaster, PA. In his spare time, he enjoys music, film, traveling, hiking, sports, photography, and restaurant/cafe hunting with his fiancee Christy.
