Strategic Planning Retreat
Dear Commission Members:
We hope you all had a wonderful holiday and enjoyed time with friends and family. In preparation for the upcoming CCDI Retreat on Saturday, December 3, 2011 from 12:30 - 5:00 p.m. in the Binns Room at the Ware Center, we are providing you with some materials for your reference prior to the retreat. These materials will be an important reference point for our work during the retreat.
The materials attached are as follows:
- Campus Climate Survey for 2010 - Delivered to your office on November 30, 2011
- Social Equity Annual Reports (These documents are password protected. Refer to the email dated November 29, 2011 from Jan Bechtel to retrieve the password.)
Brief Assignment: Your time is valuable and we would like to make the best use of our time together on Saturday. We are asking you to select one of the resources above to thoroughly review. After you have reviewed your chosen resource, please write down "two strengths" and "two weaknesses" about the material you read. We will be using your analysis as part of our afternoon discussion. If time permits, reviewing all of the resources below will be helpful, but we are only requesting that you provide the "strengths" and "weaknesses" for one resource.
If you have any questions on the above materials or the retreat please do not hesitate to email me directly. The retreat will begin promptly at 12:30pm with a working lunch. Parking passes will be provided when you leave the retreat. We look forward to seeing you all on Saturday.
