Additional Information

Ms. Bertha Saldana De Jesus earned her master's degree in social work from Widener University and her baccalaureate degree in social work from Shippensburg University. For 18 years, she has been a social work practitioner in various areas of social work, e.g., child welfare, behavioral health, and hospice. She has also served as a field liaison/field instructor in the BSW and MSW programs at Millersville University.

Ms. Saldana De Jesus is the field coordinator for the Baccalaureate and Masters Programs in the School of Social Work at Millersville University.  She is doctoral candidate at the Kutztown University and Millersville University joint DSW Program.  She holds memberships in the National Association of Social Work, the Association of Baccalaureate Social Work Program Directors (BPD), and Council on Social Work Education (CSWE).  Locally, she serves as a board member of H.E.A.R. Inc./Gatehouse and Recovery Environment Inc.
