Student Research Opportunities

Student Research at Millersville University

MiM Student Research

Every academic year Millersville University makes approximately $50,000 available to support student and student-faculty research, and over $70,000 in endowments. These funds, provided by the Office of the Provost or by endowments established by Millersville alumni and friends, create opportunities for students to develop the skills necessary for professional success after they leave the University. Many of the funds are open to students from across the University, while others are restricted to specific majors or fields of study.

Information on specific funding programs including applications forms, funding guidelines, eligibility requirements and program specific contact information can be found by following the links below. Importantly, though some of the awards are listed as "scholarships" they all support programs where research is empahsized. If you are searching for Faculty Grants, that information can be found here.

The links below provide information on some funding opportunities for undergraduate research. This list is not comprehensive. A searchable database of student scholarship and research grant opportunities can be found here. It is also advisable that you talk to your faculty advisor about research opportunties that may be specific to your department.  If you have questions regarding any of these funding opportunities, please do not hesitate to contact by email Rene Munoz, Director of Sponsored Programs and Research Administration or by phone at 717.871.4457.
