Wednesday, Oct. 15th

1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.                         Frippery Competition
Decoration of department offices, windows, and porches across campus.  Judging to be done by the Student Homecoming Committee.  Please email csil@millersville.edu if your department would like to participate.  Students and faculty will be asked to decorate windows, banners, and offices to raise school spirit during Homecoming week. Points will be awarded to students, student groups, and faculty that demonstrate the best display of MU spirit, the best representation of Homecoming themes (Wonders of the Sea and Alcohol Awareness), or student choice. There will be three separate competitions for the houses, dorms, and offices.

7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.                          Pep Rally at Pucillo Gymnasium

Come join your fellow Marauders for the huge spirit kick-off event for Homecoming week. Meet the fall sports teams, dance groups, marching band, cheerleaders and so much more.  This event is FREE and open to alumni, faculty, staff and students. 

Spread Marauder spirit by joining Millersville Alumni and other Marauders in celebrating this years Homecoming Pep Rally. There will be live music from the Marching Band, live performances, and quest appearances from President Dr. Anderson, Skully, and the Marauder!

9:00 p.m.                                            Battleship at Brooks Pool
Experience real life Battleship with teams of 3 or 4 people battling in canoes to sink the opposition.  Come prepared to get wet and defend your battleship.  This event is sponsored by Campus Recreation and FREE and open to alumni, faculty, staff and students.

Thursday, Oct. 16th

12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.                       Throwback Thursday on the Quad (by Gordinier Hall)
Drop in to play Spike ball.  This event is sponsored by Campus Recreation and FREE and open to alumni, faculty, staff and students.

7:00 p.m.                                            Pong at SMC MPR
As a part of Alcohol Awareness Week and Millersville’s Homecoming festivities, the Peer Educators are sponsoring a substance free pong tournament to educate on the dangers of high-risk drinking.  Come out for games, prizes, giveaways, food, a root beer keg, and fun!  A pre-registration deposit of $10 is required per teams of two people, which will be RETURNED at the registration table the night of the event.  Pre-registration must be received at the Montour House with a completed entry form by October 10th, at 4:00pm.  $50 cash award for the Tournament Champion and the Trivia Winner.  Each player will receive a consolation prize.  Sponsored by the Center for Health Education & Promotion (CHEP). 

8:00 p.m. - Midnight                          Glow Dome Dance Party in the Tent on the Street between Health Services and Hash This event is sponsored by UAB and is FREE and open to alumni, faculty, staff and students.

Friday, Oct. 17th

12:00 p.m.                                          Marauder Shots: Spirit Picture Competition via Social Media
Post your group Spirit pictures on Instagram and be sure to #Maraudershots.  Sponsored by Student Senate and ALL students, faculty, staff and alumni are encouraged to get involved and take pictures!

2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.                         Homecoming Court Panel in SMC Atrium 

Meet the 2014 Homecoming court candidates.  This event is FREE and open to alumni, faculty, staff and students.

4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.                         Fall Festival Picnic on the Quad
This event is sponsored by Housing and Residential Programs (HARP) & All Greek Council (AGC) and open to alumni, faculty, staff and students.  Cost of the dinner may be deducted from meal plans or FLEX accounts.   Those without meal plans can purchase a guest meal at the entrance.

7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.                         Glow Volleyball on the Quad
This event is sponsored by HARP & AGC and is FREE and open to alumni, faculty, staff and students.

8:00 pm.  – 10:00 p.m.                       Bonfire in Biemesderfer Stadium (on the practice field behind the visitor’s section bleachers) and Movie Night: Pirates of the Caribbean
This event is sponsored by Ville After Dark and the Center for Student Involvement and Leadership (CSIL).  FREE and open to alumni, faculty, staff and students.

9:00 p.m. – Midnight                         French Toast Friday at the A Frame Church on George St.
This event is sponsored by United Campus Ministries and is FREE and open to the community.

Saturday, Oct. 18th

9:00 a.m.                                            Millersville Community Parade "Wonders of the Sea"

Herr Avenue, Landis Avenue and N. George Street, Millersville.

11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.                       Pre-Game Alumni Tailgate outside Biemesderfer Stadium near Sugar Bowl

Stop in before the big Homecoming football game.  This event is FREE and open to alumni, faculty, and staff.

11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.                       Marauder Tailgate Zone outside Biemesderfer Stadium near Byerly Hall

Join in on the fun for a family friendly event featuring student organizations, games, student performances and other entertainment.  This event is FREE and open to alumni, faculty, staff and students. 

Millersville University will be hosting it's second Marauder Tailgate! The Tailgate will take place in the parking lot behind Byerly along Highschool Ave. This is a non-alcoholic Tailgate for the alumni, families, friends, and students of the University. Organizations will have the chance to have their own tent which will have an interactive activities. Also there will be student performers at the Tailgate!

2:00 p.m.                                            Marauder Football vs. East Stroudsburg University
Chryst Field, Biemesderfer Stadium. Pre-game: the 2014 MU Athletic Hall of Fame inductees introduced. Half-time: MU Student Homecoming King and Queen presentation.  Tickets can also be purchased at the main gate.  MU students with valid ID are FREE.  General Admission: $8. 6:00 p.m.                                            Marauder Fest at SMC MPR

This music festival featuring local talents and artists representing Rock and Hip-Hop is $5 with University ID for tickets purchased prior to October 17th through the Ticket Office.  All tickets purchased at the door will be $10.  No admittance without proper University ID.  Sponsored by the Black Student Union.
