Earth Day provides each of us with an opportunity to reflect on the value we place on the environment. The first Earth Day was celebrated on April 22, 1970 when 20 million Americans collectively called for actions that supported a healthy, sustainable environment. Today, over 192 countries celebrate Earth Day each year.
Millersville University annually hosts Earth Day events that highlight our shared commitment to creating a more sustainable future and our respect for the Earth and the environment.
