How To Prepare and What To Bring To Your Audition
- You must be a Millersville University Student to audition. MU Faculty and Staff are also welcome to audition.
- Sign up for an audition time. In Dutcher Hall first floor Call Board (Walk in’s are welcome the night of the audition, but you may need to wait for the next open time slot.)
- Choose one of the following monologues to prepare for your audition:
- Be sure to make strong choices for your character. Don’t be afraid to PLAY and be LARGE. Don’t hold back.
- Do some research about the plays.
- READ THE PLAY: Contact Tony Elliot to sign out a reading copy
- Show us what you can do
- Clear vocal work
- Dress in comfortable clothes
- Come with a positive attitude.
- Have FUN!
- Arrive 15 minutes before your audition time to fill out paper work.
- Bring your class and work schedule to the audition.
