Audition Information

 (Roles available for up to 10 men and 7 women)

 When: 

Monday and Tuesday

November 30 & December 1

7 – 10 pm (sign up for a specific time)

 Where:

Studio Theatre, Dutcher Hall

How to sign up: 

        The list for audition times will be posted at the Theatre Call Board in the hallway of the ground floor of Dutcher Hall. Sign up for a specific time.

How to Prepare:

When you sign up for an audition time, take a copy of the “AUDITION SCENE” provided. 

Follow the directions on the sheet.

DO SOME BACKGROUND ON THE PLAY !!! Make sure you understand what is going on in the scene.

PERFORMANCE DATES

February 

• Sign up for an audition time on the sheet and take a copy of the provided Audition piece.  Walk - in’s are welcome the night of the audition, but you may need to wait for the next open time slot.
• Do some research about the play and understand your audition scene.
• READ THE PLAY, IF YOU CAN !!!
• Arrive 15 minutes before your audition time to fill out paper work. 
• Bring your class and work schedule to the audition
• Come with a positive attitude.
• Dress in comfortable clothes
• Please prepare the monologue provided.  
  • Copies of the monologue will be available by the audition sign-up sheets so sign-up early so you have enough time to prepare your monologue.
  • Memorized monologues are best but at the least there should be evidence of preparation for your audition.
