The first and most successful of the “Rock Musicals” HAIR originated in the Vietnam War era and provides an insight into the philosophy of the flower children of the 1960’s, but it is also a social commentary of our times. It is the “Age of Aquarius” … a time of harmony and understanding … “be free, no guilt, be whoever you are, do whatever you want, just as long as you don’t hurt anyone.”

In order to restore balance King Oedipus is forced to unmask a killer, but his zealous search uncovers a more terrifying secret. Sophocles’ timeless play is a mixture of a classic tragedy, a whodunit and a political thriller. It is a gripping story about the pitfalls of leadership and man’s powerlessness at the hands of the fickle gods.

$ 10.00 General Admission
$ 7.00 MU-ID (at the door), Senior Citizens, other students
$ 5.00 MU-ID (SMC advance sales only)

Not your typical love story. The wilds of Alaska. Fate, a run-away bride and a cynical recluse converge in a match of wills to echo the raging blizzard outside. Henry and Rosanna want to be anywhere but with each other, and yet being together is just what is necessary. A kooky exploration of love, loss and the unlikely places we find sanctuary.
