She credits classes like Sport Law with making the most difference in her education.  Ashley says that courses like this were the most informative and where she felt like she learned the most applicable skills related to her major.

Morgan Rupp

M.Ed Athletic Management- Spring 2015

Morgan graduated from the Sport Management program in the Spring of 2015.  He was hired by the Ivy League to work as the Coordinator of Compliance and Championships shortly after graduating.  Morgan’s new job required him to relocate to Princeton, New Jersey and he has been very happy about taking the next step in his career.

During his studies he found that one of the most important and beneficial parts of the entire program was establishing strong networking connections with the faculty and other students.  Morgan also mentioned that the internship portion of the program really helped him to gain real world work experience.  The course that he saw as the most beneficial was WSSD 601: Organization and Administration of Sport Programs.

The best advice that he can offer to current students is to ‘get our of your comfort zone in order to expand on your experiences.  Make the most of the opportunities that Millersville University and the WSSD professors provide.  Invest in your classmates, for you  never know what that connection may lead to.”
