I need to set up an account, what shall I do?
    What you refer to as an account may be a fund code or an organization code in the BFS. To help us easily determine which is appropriate, it is best that you send your request for an account through e-mail, giving us as much information as you are able, such as account title, manager name, funding source, planned use of fund, etc.
How do I get access to the Banner Finance System?
    Please complete the New Account Request Form (printable version). You may also call the Help Desk at extension 2371 for further information.

    Once your form is received and an user account assigned, you will be notified of your user account by the Security Coordinator from the Accounting Office.
What is the balance in my account?
    If you have access to Banner, go to form FGIBDST, enter your FUND code or an ORG Code in the corresponding field, uncheck the "Include Revenue Accounts', and click on Next Block icon. Your account balance should show on the Net Total line under the Avail Bal column.

Who do I call to find out how much money I have in my account?
    The accounting staff member assigned to your program will most likely be familiar with your account. If he or she is not available, any other member of accounting staff will be glad to assist you. Here is our extension.
