The Arts in Education Partnership (AIE) is dedicated to strengthening arts education in this region through quality programs, strong partnerships and vigorous advocacy efforts. As a part of that effort, the Artist Residency Program strives to bring the highest quality professional artists into schools and community organizations across the region. South Central PaARTners' AIE Program currently services a region including Berks, northwestern Chester, southeastern Dauphin, Lancaster, and Lebanon counties.

The AIE Partnership has 31 Directory Artists in its program, including actors, dancers, folk artists, musicians, visual artists, and writers. Each spring, new artists are recruited to the program. The school-based residencies include public, private, parochial, and charter schools serving elementary, middle and high school students. We continue to develop artist residency partnerships and collaboration with area Intermediate Units, school districts, PTO's, PTA's and social service agencies.

South Central PaARTners' Arts in Education Partnership continues to grow and is adaptable to a variety of needs, expectations and situations at all host sites. Because each residency should be unique, all of your questions may not be answered here. The Arts In Education staff is available to assist you and work with you throughout the residency experience. For more information contact Jessica Hill, Arts in Education Program Coordinator at (717) 871-2186, or jessica.hill@millersville.edu.
