Millersville Field Hockey Opens Season on Saturday

The Millersville field hockey team opens the 2008 season on Saturday when it travels to Ewing, N.J. to take on the Lions of The College of New Jersey (TCNJ). Game time is 1 p.m.
The Marauders enter this season with a new coach, as Shelly Behrens takes over for Mary Gigliotti, who departed after five seasons at the helm. Behrens comes from Oneonta State, where she led the Dragons to a 10-9 record, and a second-place finish in the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC).

Men's Soccer Begins Chase for PSAC Championship Thursday in Wilmington

The Millersville men’s soccer team begins its 2008 campaign Thursday when it takes on Holy Family at the Wilmington University Invitation in Wilmington, Del.
Millersville is coming off of a successful 2007 campaign in which it went 11-8-1 and made the PSAC playoffs with a 10-5-1 conference record. It was also the first year for head coach Steve Widdowson who was named the 2007 PSAC Eastern Division Coach of the Year.
