JENNINGS TO FOCUS ON 5000 AT NCAA TRACK AND FIELD CHAMPIONSHIP
May 14 - Priscilla Jennings (Jr. Solanco HS) was selected to participate in the NCAA Division II Track and Field Championships. Jennings will compete in the 5000 meters running the preliminary rounds on Friday May 24. She is currently ranked 3rd in the 5000. The meet is being hosted by Cal Poly Pomona and will take place at Mount San Antonio College’s Stadium outside of Los Angeles California.
Jennings ran her automatic qualifying time in the Olympic Development Heat at Penn Relays on April 24th. She was the top collegiate finisher in that race and shattered the Millersville school record by over 20 seconds. Jennings also qualified for the NCAA meet in the 800 meter, 1500 meters and 3000 meters but chose to focus on the 5000.

WEEKLEY, WARD EARN ALL-PSAC LACROSSE FIRST-TEAM HONORS
May 12 – Two Millersville University women's lacrosse players have been named to the All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) all-star team on Monday.
Midfielder Elizabeth Weekley (so. Pottstown, Pa./Pottstown HS) made the first-team offense while midfielder Lauren Ward (sr. Springfield, Pa./Cardinal O'Hara HS) was named to the first team defense.
Weekley turned in a historic year for the Marauders, setting a single-season MU scoring record with 68 goals and tying the record for points (76). She led the conference in goals per game with 4.53.
Ward ranked third on the team in goals (23), points (40) and second in assists. She led the conference in draw controls per game (3.2) and ranked 10 th in assists per game (1.13).
