Baseball Stadium

The Millersville University baseball stadium hosted its first game on March 25, 2007, a Millersville 16-6 win over Philadelphia University.

The new field features: a brand-new scoreboard in left-center field, a climate-controlled press box with three phone lines, grandstands to support 250 fans, a state-of-the-art irrigation system and a sound system.

For the players, there is a batting cage in right field and a bullpen area for each team. The field dimensions are 330 feet down the lines, 375 feet to left and right-center field and 400 feet to center field. The first and third base lines are entirely grass.

The project took four years to plan and build and $1.7 million to complete. It's the first home field the Marauders have had since Biemsderfer Field in 2004.

The stadium, still yet to be named, is located on the corner of Cottage and Prince Streets next to the Stayer Education Building.
