Pucillo FieldLocated behind Pucillo Gymnasium and Natatorium, Pucillo Field is the home of the Marauder soccer, lacrosse and softball teams.
In the fall of 1997, the Millersville men's and women's soccer teams moved from their former home at Biemesderfer Field to a new pitch complete with modern irrigation equipment. Lights were erected for nighttime contests. The Marauder lacrosse team made its debut at the new Pucillo Field in the spring of 1998. Stands along the west side of the field can seat 300 spectators and there is ample seating on the knoll directly in front of the stands. The softball field has undergone recent improvements, including a new backstop, dugouts with protective fences, and lights for early evening practices and games. A temporary mesh fence is used during softball varsity home games. In addition, stands along the left and right field foul lines can seat 100 spectators each. Expanded practice and intramural fields have been constructed adjacent to the soccer and softball fields. |
