Former Marauder Track Star to Compete at Olympic Trials

June 24 - General
James Carney, a 2000 Millersville graduate, will attempt to qualify for this summer’s Beijing Olympics in the men’s 10,000 meters. Carney qualified for the trials with the sixth fastest in the nation of 27:43.64.

The U.S. Olympic Track and Field Trials will begin June 27 in Eugene Ore. The 10,000 meters will take place on Friday, July 4.

Millersville Swimming Opens Registration for Marauder Aquatic Club

June 20 - Women's Swimming
The Millersville women’s swimming and head coach Kyle Almoney has opened registration for the 2008-09 Marauder Aquatic Club, which is a competitive swimming club that competes in the Central Pennsylvania Aquatic League (CPAL) and in USA swimming events.

The Marauder Aquatic Club has four group levels depending on age and experience level ranging from first-year swimmers to eighth graders.
