MILLERSVILLE MEN'S SOCCER SEASON ENDS WITH PSAC PLAYOFF LOSS TO LOCK HAVEN

October 31, 2007 Lock Haven, Pa. – The Millersville University men's soccer season came to an end Wednesday afternoon after a 3-0 loss to second-seeded Lock Haven in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) playoff action.

Lock Haven led 1-0 at the half. Forward Paul Huckett scored on a header after a pass from teammate Ashley Rosindale at the 19:54 mark of the first half. Rosindale recorded an assist on each of the team's three goals.

Lock Haven put the game away late in the second half when Midfielder Lyndell Pompey headed in a goal at the 71:29 mark. The final score came on a breakaway with under two minutes to play to seal the win for Lock Haven.

Lock Haven will move on to play top-seed East Stroudsburg , a 1-0 winner over West Chester , in Saturday's PSAC championship game.

Goalie Matt Langione (fr. York/Dallastown) recorded six saves in the contest while Lock Haven Goalkeeper Chad Feerrar made ten saves.

Millersville completes their season ranked sixth in the Northeast Region with an 11-8-1 record and appeared in the playoffs for the first time since 2002.
