RAPP NAMED PSAC SWIMMER OF THE WEEK

Nov. 15, 2007 – Millersville University swimmer Kara Rapp (jr. Myerstown/Lititz Christian) was named Women’s Swimmer of the Week in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) for her performance against York College on Nov. 9.

Rapp won both the 500-yard freestyle (5:33.54) and the 1,000-yard freestyle (11:27.18) in Millersville’s 124-76 win over York.

Rapp, a social work major, is continuing the success she had last season, when she set team bests in the 200 freestyle, 500 freestyle, 1,000 freestyle and 1,650 freestyle. Rapp is a PSAC scholar athlete and qualified for the PSAC Championships.
