Millersville University Football - Shelton named to All-Region Team

Nov. 28, 2007 – Millersville cornerback Brandon Shelton (sr. New Oxford/Gettysburg) was named to the Daktronics Division II Football All-Northeast Region Team on Wednesday after posting 63 tackles and 14 passes defended, which led the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC).

Shelton tied for the conference lead with six interceptions in 2007. He returned the pickoffs for a combined 121 yards and scored two touchdowns. The two-time All-PSAC East First Team selection added two forced fumbles, a fumble recovery and 1.5 tackles for a loss. He was named PSAC Player of the Week earlier this fall.

For his career, Shelton tied the school record for interceptions with 14. He returned those INTs for 401 yards and five touchdowns. He finished his career with 173 tackles.
