MU WOMEN'S SWIM TEAM FALLS 94-34 TO CALIFORNIA OF PA.

Jan. 25 – The Lady Marauder swim team had a tough opening day at California University 's Vulcan Dual Meet Challenge, falling 94-34 to the host Vulcans.

Sarah Johnson (sr. Bloomsburg, Pa./Bloomsburg HS) tallied Millersville University 's lone win in seven events by completing the 50-yard backstroke in 29.76.

Kara Rapp (jr. Myerstown , Pa. /Lititz Chrtistian HS) and Becca Lauffer (so. Mountville , Pa. /Hempfield HS) were the Marauders' only second-place finishers. Rapp completed the 1,000-yard freestyle in 11:17.02 while Lauffer finished the 200-yard butterfly in 2:29.99.

Millersville now has a record of 4-3 and will next compete tomorrow in the second day of the Vulcan Dual Meet Challenge.
