MILLERSVILLE UNIVERSITY CROSS COUNTRY HOLDS MARAUDER INVITATIONAL

September 1, 2007, Lancaster, Pa. – The Millersville University men's and women's cross country teams held the Marauder Invitational on Saturday at Central County Park in Lancaster . The meet consisted of the men's and women's cross country teams, alumni and friends.

Adam Malloy (sr. Ephrata/Ephrata) was the event's top finisher with a time of 17:03 on the five-kilometer course. Ben Brewer (sr. Ambridge/Ambridge) and Jeff Rafach (fr. Hanover/Hanover Twp.) rounded out the top three with times of 17:19 and 17:23, respectively.

Priscilla Jennings (jr. Quarryville/Solanco) was the first female finisher with a time of 19:44 to end up in 13th place. The next two highest female finishers were Brittany Zuver (so. York/Central York ) ( 21:20 ) and Rachel Yodis (fr. Phoenixville/Phoenixville) (21:37).

Former All-American Greg Cauler was the highest alumni finisher with a ninth place finish and a time of 18:31.

Millersville will compete at the Lock Haven Invitational on Saturday, September 15 at 10 a.m. in Lock Haven, Pa.
