MILLERSVILLE’S ST. JULIEN WINS PSAC EAST WOMEN’S BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK FOR THIRD TIME

Feb. 25 – Millersville University women’s basketball player Gladine St. Julien has won PSAC East Player of the Week recognition for a third time this season.

St. Julien, a six-foot junior forward from Leesport, Pa. (Schuylkill Valley HS), was named Co-Player of the Week along with West Chester’s Dana Weems.

Last week, St. Julien led Millersville (20-4, 10-0 PSAC East) to its 11th-straight victory as she scored game-highs of 22 and 16 points over East Stroudsburg  and Kutztown, respectively.

She equaled her season-high in points on Saturday at ESU, posting the 22-point tally in just 28 minutes of action. It was also the 10th time this season she has led the Marauders in scoring.  St. Julien also contributed 11 boards and six steals while shooting 54.5 percent (12-of-22) from the floor.

St Julien also won PSAC East Player of the Week honors on Feb. 11 and Jan. 14.
