Millersville was also recognized as one of 17 teams in division II to record a team grade-point average of 3.0 or higher during the 2007 season.  This was the second time in three years (2005) the team was honored for their academic accomplishments.

The following players maintained a 3.3 grade point average or higher throughout the semester: Casie Baer (fr. Douglasville/Daniel Boone), Gabrielle Caronia (sr. Nazareth/Nazareth), Julie Hettinger (sr. Suplee/Twin Valley), Nicole Rayson (so. Newport/Greenwood), Elizabeth Wawrzyniak (fr. Ambler/Wissahickon), Kayla Weiler (fr. Hettinger, who has been honored for the third time in her career for academic excellence, was also recognized both as a freshman and a sophomore by the NFHCA.  Caronia was named to the team for the second time, earning the award as a sophomore as well.

The NFHCA recognizes those college student-athletes who have achieved a minimum GPA of 3.30 through the first semester of the 2007-08 academic year.
