MEN'S AND WOMEN'S TENNIS TEAMS DROP SPRING OPENERS AT SHEPHERD

March 30 – The Millersville men's and women's tennis teams both dropped their spring openers at Shepherd University by scores of 8-1 on Sunday afternoon.

Chris Mattisse (sr. Mechanicsburg, Pa./Mechanicsburg Area HS) was the lone winner for the men's team (1-2), winning 6-4, 6-3 over Bruno Azevido.

Jackie Jaffe (so. Newton, Pa./Council Rock HS) recorded the only win for the women's team (1-5) with a 6-4, 6-3 win over Meredith Scaggs.

The women return to action on Tuesday, April 1 when they host Cheyney at 3 p.m.

The men are off until a trip to Kutztown on Saturday, April 5. The match begins at noon.
