MATISSE WINS THIRD STRAIGHT SINGLES MATCH BUT MILLERSVILLE MEN'S TENNIS TEAM FALLS

April 14 - Chris Matisse (sr. Mechanicsburg, Pa./Mechanicsburg Area HS) recorded his third consecutive win but it wasn't enough to keep the Millersville University men's tennis team from losing 7-2 to Queens (N.Y.) College.

Matisse, MU's No. 1 player and winner of six consecutive sets, toppled Marcelo Kim 6-2, 6-4 but it was the only singles win the Marauders (1-6, 1-1 PSAC) could muster. Matisse is a team-best 5-3 in singles matches this season.

Matisse teamed with Drew Slocum (fr. Shaverton, Pa./Dallas HS) to beat Kim and Taylor Crabill in the No. 1 doubles match 8-6 to account for Millersville's other team point. MU's top tandem has now won two straight doubles matches.
