BLOOMSBURG DROP MILLERSVILLE WOMEN'S LACROSSE TEAM WITH SECOND-HALF SURGE

April 16 – The Millersville University women's lacrosse team suffered its second straight loss with a 17-12 defeat at Bloomsburg on Wednesday.

The Marauders (6-5, 5-5 PSAC) led 9-8 at halftime but was out-shot 20-9 in the final 30 minutes.

MU led 11-9 before the Huskies scored eight of the last nine goals over the final 24:21 to secure the win.

Cali Toms led the Huskies with a game-high five goals.

Elizabeth Week ley (so. Pottstown , Pa. /Pottstown HS) scored a team-high four goals for Millersville while Lauren Ward (sr. Springfield , Pa./Cardinal O'Hara HS) added three goals and an assist.

The Marauders next play on Saturday at home against Lock Haven, ranked fifth in the country. The game is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.
