JENNINGS CRUSHES MILLERSVILLE UNIVERSITY 5K RECORD; AUTOMATICALLY QUALIFIES FOR NATIONALS

 April 24 – Priscilla Jennings (jr. Solanco HS) has continued her tear this spring by crushing the Millersville University women's track and field outdoor 5,000-meter record on Thursday.

At the Penn Relays, Jennings posted an unofficial time of 16:54, which beat Erin Carey's 12-year- old record by over 24 seconds.

That time was good for an automatic bid the NCAA meet by over 10 seconds. The NCAA meet will be held May 23-25 at Cal Poly Pamona.

Jennings has also posted NCAA provisional times in the 3,000-meter, 1,500-meter and 800-meter races.

She has also broken school records in the 3,000 and 800 this season.
