MEN’S TENNIS TEAM FALLS TO ESU IN PSAC CONSOLATION
April 26 – The Millersville University men’s tennis team dropped a 5-3 decision to East Stroudsburg Saturday afternoon in the consolation match of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championships held on the campus of Bloomsburg University.
Millersville was led by Chris Matisse who won at #1 singles with a straight-sets (6-2, 6-1) victory over Jeff Kurz.
Matisse then teamed with #2 singles player Drew Slocum to knock off Kurz and Jared Howat by a score of 8-3 at #1 doubles.
The other winner for the Marauders came at #3 singles as Marty Markowski won in straight sets, 6-1 and 6-4.
