TWENTY SEVEN MARAUDERS HEADED FOR PSAC TRACK AND FIELD CHAMPIONSHIPS

April 29 - Thirteen men and fourteen women will be representing Millersville at the upcoming PSAC Outdoor Track and Field Championship to be held at Indiana University of PA on May 1-3.

The men's team will be lead by Derrick Bass (So. York Suburban) who currently ranks 7th in the Long Jump (22' 3”) and 6th in the 200 (22.01). Jim Boyer (So. Mechanicsburg) is ranked 5th in the steeplechase (9:36.64) Senior Denis Quirk (Kenard Dale) is ranked 7th in the Javelin (199'8”) while Lucas Neiderer (So. Delone Catholic) is ranked 8th in the Decathlon (5680 points). The men hope to improve on last year's 10th-place showing.

On the women's side, Priscilla Jennings (Jr. Solanco) is the number one seed in the 1500 (4:32.81) and 3000 (9:55.0) and the number 2 seed in the 800 (2:12.50). Brittney Zuver (So. Central York) is ranked number one in the 3000 steeple (11:13.74) and 7th in the 3000 (10:33.62). Brittany Yanora (So. Elmer L Meyers) is 8th seed in the 400 (59.27) as is Rachel Hull in the 1500 (4:46.80). The women's team hopes to improve on last year's 8th-place showing.
