PARKER SELECTED TO CBI EAST ALL-STAR TEAM, HELPS LEAD EAST TO VICTORY

April 28- Charlie Parker (sr. Fawn Grove, Pa./Kennard-Dale) scored eight points in 23 minutes of action in the College Basketball Invitational as he helped the East defeat the West 107-85 in the CBI All-Star Game held in Wadsworth, Ohio Saturday night.  The game was televised live on ESPNU.

Parker shot 4-for-9 from the field, and added three rebounds to go along with a pair of assists and three steals on the evening.

The CBI All-Star game brought together 20 of the top NCAA Division II and III, as well as NAIA Division I and II players in the country.

Parker led his team, First Merit, to the tournament championship.  The tournament featured 64 of the top players from the above divisions, divided into eight teams of eight players each.
