MRAKOVICH NAMED TO ALL-REGION; ALL-PSAC FIRST TEAMS FOR SOFTBALL
May 7 – Millersville pitcher/designated player Janelle Mrakovich (jr. Middletown, Pa./Bishop McDevitt HS) was named to two postseason all-star teams for softball on Wednesday.
Mrakovich made the 2008 Daktronics Mid-Atlantic All-Region First Team as well as the All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) East Division First Team. She made both teams as a designated player.
Mrakovich was a force both on the mound and at the plate. She led the team in batting average (.336), homeruns (6), runs batted in (37), total bases (74) and slugging percentage (.552). Mrakovich also led the team in wins (10), complete games (14), innings pitched (131.2) and strikeouts (81).
