WEEKLEY, WARD EARN ALL-PSAC LACROSSE FIRST-TEAM HONORS
May 12 – Two Millersville University women's lacrosse players have been named to the All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) all-star team on Monday.
Midfielder Elizabeth Weekley (so. Pottstown, Pa./Pottstown HS) made the first-team offense while midfielder Lauren Ward (sr. Springfield, Pa./Cardinal O'Hara HS) was named to the first team defense.
Weekley turned in a historic year for the Marauders, setting a single-season scoring record with 68 goals and tying the record for points (76). She led the conference in goals per game with 4.53.
Ward ranked third on the team in goals (23), points (40) and second in assists. She led the conference in draw controls per game (3.2) and ranked 10 th in assists per game (1.13).
Twenty six players were named to the All-PSAC all-star first and second teams. Both Weekley and Ward were named to the all-star teams for the first time in their careers.
The Marauders finished the season with an 8-7 record.
