GAST WINS HAL HANSEN INVITATIONAL; MILLERSVILLE UNIVERSITY GOLF
FINISHES FOURTH
September 17, 2007, Clarion, Pa. – Corey Gast birdied the final hole to
win the Hal Hansen Invitational, hosted by Clarion University,
by a single stroke. Millersville finished fourth in the team competition.
Gast (sr. Lancaster/Lampeter-Strasburg) had rounds of 73 and 74 to finish at three over par for the two-day tournament. Ryan Bardo had a two-day score of 156 to finish in a tie for 21st place. Nicholas Magenta fired off a total score of 164, while Trent Coldren had a 166. Millersville's team score was 625, 22 strokes behind Clarion.
The Millersville golf team will take part at the Wheeling Jesuit Invitational from Sunday, September 23 through Tuesday, September 25.
