MILLERSVILLE UNIVERSITY WOMEN’S VOLLEYBALL DOWNS EAST STROUDSBURG UNIVERSITY, 3-2

September 25, 2007, East Stroudsburg, Pa. – The Millersville University women’s volleyball team defeated host East Stroudsburg University in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) East match on Tuesday night.

The game scores were 24-30, 30-24, 28-30, 30-23 and 16-14.

Millersville (11-8, 2-2 PSAC) got a triple-double from setter Meredith Sinback (so. Fairless Hills/Pennsbury). Sinback had 27 assists, 11 digs and ten kills. Outside hitter Kathy Howard (jr. Sinking Spring/Wilson) had a team-best 40 digs. Outside hitter Laura Navin (jr. Mechanicsburg/Cumberland Valley) followed up with 36 digs. Outside hitter Emily Bires (so. Lititz/Manheim Twp.) recorded a team-best 14 kills, while outside hitter Caitlin Rinker (so. Fort Pierce, FL/Vero Beach) added 13 kills.

Millersville will host a pair of PSAC crossover matches on Friday, September 28 against California (Pa.) at 5 p.m. and Indiana (Pa.) at 7 p.m.
