September 27, 2007, Millersville, Pa. – Forward Jaclyn Kulesza (sr. Oxford/Oxford) had a pair of goals to lead the Millersville University women's field hockey team to a 3-0 win over non-conference opponent Seton Hill on Thursday at Chryst Field at Biemesderfer Stadium.
Along with Kulesza, forward Melissa Barto (jr. Hummelstown/Lower Dauphin) scored a goal for Millersville (4-7). Forward Kristie Testa (so. Lititz/Lancaster Catholic) added two assists, while midfielder Meredith Dolinger (so. Nottingham/Oxford) had one.
In goal, Millersville's Jessica Heckman (so. Harrisburg/Central Dauphin) stopped one shot. Kristen Holden (fr. Cookstown, N.J./Northern Burlington) came in with 5:36 left and didn't face a shot. For Seton Hill (7-4), Meredith Benson made 13 saves. The Marauders heavily out-shot the Griffins, 21-2.
Kulesza scored the game's first goal just 23 seconds into the game. Her goal, to the near side, was unassisted. Barto got on the score sheet with a goal on a penalty corner. Testa passed the ball in play to her. Kulesza's second goal came at 56:00 on a penalty corner. Dolinger and Testa got helpers on the play.
Millersville's next game is on Saturday, September 29 at Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference opponent Mansfield at noon . The Mountaineers won the first meeting, 4-2, on September 5.
