Millersville University Men's Soccer Falls in Non-Conference Action
October 4, 2007, Rockville Centre, NY – The Millersville University Men's Soccer fell to host Molloy College Thursday afternoon 3-0 in non-conference action.
Molloy struck 15:27 into the first half on a header goal by Emmanuel Gamez. Molloy would add another tally just before the half where they led 2-0.
An early first half goal for Molloy put the game out of reach turning Millersville away empty handed.
Millersville starting goalie Matt Langione (fr. York/Dallastown) made four saves before being replaced by goalkeeper Lucas Stacey (fr. Lititz/Warwick). Molloy goalie Russ Francome stopped two shots on his way to a shutout.
Millersville falls to 6-5-1 overall while Molloy improves to 9-2-1.
The Millersville University men's soccer team will be in action again this Saturday October 6th when they travel to Kutztown for a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference match-up beginning at noon.
