McLAUGHLIN POWERS MILLERSVILLE MEN'S SOCCER PAST BLOOMSBURG, 2-0
October 10, 2007, Millersville, Pa. – Forward Sean McLaughlin (jr. Holland/Council Rock South) scored two goals in the final ten minutes of the game to secure a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) win over visiting Bloomsburg Wednesday evening.
McLaughlin broke the scoreless tie at the 82:18 mark off of a pass from Forward Kyle Loughlin (fr. Warren Hills Reg.) after Bloomsburg goalie Jon Keller attempted to make the save by leaving the goal. McLaughlin would add a second goal just over five minutes later on a breakaway to seal the game for the Marauders. He finished the game with nine shots.
Millersville goalie Matt Langione (fr. York/Dallastown) made six saves for his second shutout of the season.
The win was the fourth conference victory in a row for the Marauders, improving their record to 8-5-1 (7-4-1 PSAC) overall.
The loss drops Bloomsburg to 2-11-2 ( 2-10-1 PSAC) overall.
The Marauders will take the field again next Monday, October 15, when they travel to East Stroudsburg University for a 7:00 p.m. start
