With a new Head Coach in Mike O'Brien and ten new additions to the roster Millersville's women's soccer team looks to vastly improve beyond there last seasons record of 3-11-5 .

Along with many new faces Millersville returns 15 players from last year, five of which are seniors. “I'm looking forward to the start of the season… with many experienced as well as some strong incoming players, the transition should run quite smoothly” said Coach O'Brien.

Key returning players include Sr. Forward Melissa Cameron , the top returning goal leader with four goals last season. Cameron was also second on last year's team with 18 shots on goal.

Other returning goal scorers from a season ago include So. Forward/Mid-Fielder Destiny Lee (2), So. Back Rebecca Dickinson (2), So. Forward/Mid Fielder Cassandra McLaughlin (2) and Jr. Mid-Fielder/Back Madison Vogel (1).

Millersville also welcomes back both of the goalies from last season. Last season Jr. Karrine Riggins totaled 162 saves while allowing only 25 goals. She posted a save percentage of 86 percent along with three shutouts.

With a solid group of returning players along with a new head coach and players, Millersville University's women's soccer team expects to outperform there record from a year ago and once again be a force to reckon with in the PSAC.
