WHAT CAN I DO WITH THE ENGLISH MAJOR/MINOR?

You will graduate. Plan for it.  A liberal arts degree is a professional plus.  Many professional majors turn into real liabilities as the world changes over time.  As an English major, you can think clearly, communicate well, and understand a great deal about how the world and its citizens think and act.  You understand our and other cultures and know how to research difficult problems.  That's a winning combination.

Now, it's time to think through what you can do with the degree. Don't know what to do with your major? Only you can plan your career, but your advisor and Career Services can help. There is testing that can help you figure out what you would enjoy doing and be good at.  It's free, so take advantage of it.
