Career Opportunities:
Our marine biology graduates have been highly successful
in a great variety of highly respected graduate programs,
including the State University of New Jersey at Rutgers, the University of Miami, SUNY at
Stony Brook, the University of Maryland, the University of Delaware, the University of Florida, Florida State University, Dalhousie University, the Florida Institute of
Technology, the Virginia Institute of Marine Science,
the University of Georgia, Boston University, and St. Joseph's University.
Graduates of the marine biology program are employed by Sea World, the National Aquarium
at Baltimore, the Aquarium of the Americas, and other
important research, educational, and public facilities. They
have careers as aquarists, animal keepers, trainers,
and researchers. Many other marine
biology alumni are employed in the states of Florida,
Washington, California, Texas, Georgia, and Maine,
working for state agencies or private corporations.
