| Internships and Co-ops at Millersville University |
 |
Millersville University recognizes that learning can take
place outside of the classroom, and that theory is complimented by practical
experience. The Office of Community & Academic Partnerships provides co-op,
internship, and service-learning opportunities which allow MU students to earn
credit toward graduation and provide students the opportunity to apply knowledge learned
in the classroom to actual work situations. Co-ops and internships have the same eligibility and academic requirements at Millersville. We use the term
internships generically to refer to these types of
experiences. The CAP office is the centralized point of entry for students,
businesses, and community organizations. |

Cooperative Education is a "win - win" for all concerned. Employers get a highly motivated employee for a specific amount of time; students gain professional proficiency, self-confidence and a chance to "test drive" their career choice; the University gains important feedback regarding its instruction, curriculum and programs.
Our database contains close to 1800 employers and a greater number of jobs. Last year approximately 385 students earned $848,800 as MU interns. We look forward to welcoming you to CAP at Millersville University.
