Answer each of the following questions.  Clearly indicate your answers.

TESTING for μ if σ is known
If you have the raw data enter it in column C1
Click on Stat >> Basic Statistics >> 1-sample Z.
Enter C1 in the cell marked "Sample in Columns" if using raw data.  [If you only have summary statistics, click "Summarized data" and enter the info.]
Input the known σ value in the Standard deviation.
Check Perform hypothesis test. Enter the Hypothesized mean.
Click the Options button.
Select the appropriate alternative hypothesis.
Click OK twice.

TESTING for μ if σ is unknown
If you have the raw data enter it in column C1
Click on Stat >> Basic Statistics >> 1-sample t.
Enter C1 in the cell marked "Sample in Columns" if using raw data.  [If you only have summary statistics, click "Summarized data" and enter the info.]
Check Perform hypothesis test. Enter the Hypothesized mean.
Click the Options button.
Select the appropriate alternative hypothesis.
Click OK twice.

TESTING for p

Check Perform hypothesis test. Enter the Hypothesized proportion.
Click the Options button.
Select the appropriate alternative hypothesis.
Click "Use test and interval based on a normal distribution"
Click OK twice.
