Associate of Chemistry
This degree is designed for the student who wishes to become a chemical technician. It is also designed for the student who, for financial, personal, or other reasons, wishes to terminate his or her education after two years while still completing a university degree and receiving a diploma. However, the program is also constructed such that a student wishing to switch to a baccalaureate degree may do so with no loss of time or academic credit. The Chemistry Department is committed to offering the courses required for this degree during the first morning lecture period, during the late afternoon, or beginning in the early evening hours so that a student who works at a full-time job in the Lancaster area can obtain all the necessary chemistry courses in a reasonable time.
