Testing times and locations

All entering science majors (biology, chemistry, physics, and earth sciences which include geology, oceanography and meterology) are required to take the Chemistry Placement Test (CPT) to assess the extent of their competency in chemistry and in basic related mathematics skills. The placement test is used to determine the appropriate introductory chemistry course for incoming science majors. Details regarding the chemistry placement test can be obtained by contacting the chemistry department office at 872-3411.

REGISTRATION (Only incoming freshmen need to register – transfer or currently enrolled students can just show up for the CPT)
